The Holy Fire (Russian " Holy Light ") is a miracle that occurs every year at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem on Holy Saturday, the day preceding Orthodox Easter. It is the longest attested annual miracle in the Christian world. It has only been consecutively documented, however, since 1106, previous mentions being sporadic. The ceremony is broadcast live in Greece, Russia and other Orthodox (original christianity) countries. Russian Christianity has a more 1000 year history.
In my video shown some icons Andrey Rublev (1360 - 1427y.) is the greatest Russian iconographer. The Holy Trinity is Rublev's most famous work and also one of the most widely known of Russian icons.

Yes. Christ is Risen! Truly He is Risen!

  • Thank you for yours kind feelings and wishes. Though I do not think that the external form should be identical at all people. People are created with different mentality and have different religious practices. But any religion does our world better.

  • Hristos a Inviat !!!

  • Michael Kalopoulos, author & historian of religion, dipped 3 candles in white phosphorus. The candles spontaneously ignited after approximately 20 min due to the self-ignition properties of white phosphorus when in contact with air. If phosphorus is dissolved in an appropriate organic solvent, self-ignition is delayed until the solvent has almost completely evaporated. Repeated experiments showed that the ignition can be delayed for half an hour or more, depending on the density of the solution

  • I love my Orthodox brothers, I think you are very holy and blessed Christians. I am Catholic and I hope we will be one!

  • All music done in the Orthodox Church is done sans musical instruments which is fairly unique seeing most churches at least use a piano.
