"The iPad has a 1024 by 768 resolution... the iPad has a 1366 by 768 resolution" lol 1:26

JooJoo fails, because it's just a browser, and that's it.
If you want real iPad competition, you'll have to wait for one of the forthcoming tablets running the Android OS and then we'll see. The HP Slate has netbook internals and is running a full Win 7 OS, which is missing the point, IMO, so I discard that.

@ibpointless2 so the ipad has a docking station peripheral? If so then yeah I see no upper hand with the Joo Joo unless someone wants to carry around USB shit on the go. Docking stations serve the same purpose and usually have multiple media ports besides USB. I dont praise Apple Im just sayin USB port on Joo Joo vs ipad docking station (if thats what you were refering to) seems like ipad still beats the competition to me.

what? it doesnt run flash?

I think there is one large factor you are either forgetting or choosing to not mention in these arguments. The apps, the already established developer base, and store in place for those apps that the developers make money on. If no one is writing software for your device you are going to have problems competing, and have a lot less time to brag about having a usb port.

The Joojoo, formerly known as the Crunchpad.

honestly, i would love to have the ipad but the missing camera is a deal killer for me because I would like to be able to skype on it, that is what I do on the Internet, that is what would be good to give as a gift to parents who are not internet-savy where they can just access key features on a device like this without having to go on a computer....I think either appler rushed this device out or they are holding out on features to sell vers 2
I think the biggest thing that prevents me from wanting one is the 4gb memory. I would be curious what the usb could be used for. If there was some type of memory extender that could be attached that would increase my interest in this. I want to be able to read ebooks and only 4gb does limit the amount of books that could be stored. I am holding of on this reason alone.

If your holding off because of limitation of 4GB and just want to read ebooks you should get the Sony ereader...it has like 1GB internal memory, but it also has 2 memory card slots that can hold 8GB cards each...thats a whole lot of books
