I just finished reading the history about these deathtraps. Do you know how many crashed and burned? Engine catches fire, falls off & goes up in flames IF it is able to land

Thanks for posting....I flew to Japan (via Hawaii and Wake Island) in 1958 in one of these...They were great in their day...The 1649H was a superb airplane
