  • @bboysnack i do 4+ hours of practice. 1st hour is just freestyling. next 30 minutes hitting,, then dimestops, then waves, then i try to think of new concepts..

  • @poppinderek oh okay i know what that is , so u practice that before each session u do ?

  • @bboysnack dimestops are the MOST BORINGEST PART of my popping practice. basically dimestopping is "being able to stop your body on a dime" which means you freeze and NOTHING in your body moves for a split second. i'm not talking about hitting. theres no flexing involved. just pure stops. i tend to practice 4~5 hrs a day at least. and it breaks down to: 1st hour freestyle popping, 30 minutes hitting,t 30 minutes dimestops, 30 minutes waves, 30 minutes new concepts, then rest i choreo/freestyle

  • @poppinderek great comment and suggestion , what exactly is dimestops and yea i think i a\improoved by a lot my hits arent my big objective now , i got it in natrually now i have to focus more on the actual movment of my wave , some people also speculated me not using my whole body at once , you think i should work on that too ?

  • lastly, your angles are sloppy. dimestops will help you with that tho. ahaha i'm still underground popper for now but i practice with Quest Crew and Pacman from Marvelous Motion and I am me crew and i'm just passing on knowledge they gave me. good lucks on your journey bro.

  • alright my comments on this is. well first of all this was in september you must have improved a shitload by now. or im expecting you to. and here's the critique. i love your pops and hits. accurate to the flow. the thing you lack is your wave definition. i used to have the same problems you did. my arms stayed near my body and it made my entire popping look sloppy. another thing i'll recommend you is to practice dimestops, it will make your popping look way more legit and ill.
