  • @will4ward before the job....its student's responsibility to learn as much as he can about the creative principles n law...coz if u are in job u dont get the time to learn...and this is not my quote, these are quotes for almost majority of pro game designers n high end cg people who r at top studios today...seriously under a job u dont hav time to experiment things, all u hav is to apply ur skills n knowledge

  • @bharatkumargupta you are right.of course .whats an artist? we are all cogs

in the machine under a VFX supervisor .

  • @will4ward thing is more u learn more u go forward...

  • @eydukackbratze cgi crap lol...a lill respect buddy

  • @will4ward fat kids infron of maya n shake r artists ..unless ur an artist u wont be able to make people buy ur stuff,..maya max is system, ther lot harder if ur not creative enough..every gen had challenges ...its even harder today...stan winston himself said "the computer aint do nothin if ur not an artist"...if u master even a part of maya u wont be saying fat maya kids to people who actualy bridge their output to the actual footage u see on screen!

  • Im sure some people said the same thing when color film became popular.

' oh they don't make movies like they use to, these color lovin hippie kids, eeeesh '

8-) but yeh, this is some pretty cool stuff. Getting your hands dirty is great fun. Thats why Weta owns :)

  • there is nothing about Explorers in this documentary

  • "...and A LOT of money"

I think that's the problem right there :'-(

I still prefer the "Blade Runner" Final Cut BluRay or the "Total Recall" BluRay over all the new CGI-crap...just look at the Trailer for "Skyline"...it's a joke..this on the over hand is art

  • Mark Stetson made models for Blade Runner too.

  • Really I condivide your description. The business has destroyed the real Art of special effects.
