  • Thanks for sharing, really helping with my decision to buy one, I have a Merlin but it's agony to use with the XH A1 and Canon 5D so hardly use it, truthfully do you use it much or does it seem an effort to bother setting it up?

    Thanks

    Simon

  • @SDGlamour Thanks, glad to hear my video was helpful. Have you seen the Merlin Cookbook? Perhaps you will find some useful balancing setups for your camera. The Merlin should be working fine with the Canon 5D and/or XH A1. About the arm & vest. It's very easy to put on and start flying with it. It's a fantastic add-on for the Merlin. Especially the arm is amazing.

  • Now put the FS 100 on it!!!!!!

  • @WDPlumbing I already placed the NEX-FS100 on the Steadicam Merlin. :)

  • @clueddo no, but I did get the camera from Germany. :)

  • holy crap at 0:34 you've got a studio camera in your house?

  • Thank you, I really appreciate to be called idiot! Once again, thanks!

As a matter of fact, I do own have a couple of cameras. However, I know it is not practical to use a camera like that in your own home. The point I'm trying to make is that it look really great when it is just standing there as a decoration. The idea of having one just for that reason is plain awesome.

So please, stop being such an ass and enjoy this like the rest of us.

  • Love the parts when you control it wothout using your hands. Totally in sync and dancing with your Steadicam, that's how it should be. =)

  • @clueddo Habe ich mich auch gefragt

  • @DerranNL yup I caught that right after I watched this, and then realized I'd seen that video before. Thanks.

  • Impressive setup, when I have a grand I just may get one. I've been happy using my $38 Cam Caddie, it's helped me capture some amazingly smooth shots.

  • "The Claaaaw..." :D

  • great vid.
