Lee is his middle name. He is not Chinese, his parents were originally from Poland.

your high Geddy Lee's real name is Gary Lee Weinrich and his parents are Canadian and he became known as Geddy due to his mothers strong accent when she would pronounce Gary

Thanks Sam, yes, his real name is Gary Lee Weinrib. I read not too long ago that he has now legally changed his name to Geddy Lee. Interesting, no? :)
