if there's no citrus vodka what i do is get lemon juice add shugar,regular vodka,sugart the rim,shake and serve.

i like to make my simple syrop in an old clean mickey bottle, use about 3-4 shots of regular vodka, half a lemon's juice, and shake it up with lots of ice

When you sugar the edge, wipe the inside edge of the glass with a cloth, that way you don't get the sugar in the drink and polluting the cocktail.
