  • ashlarxxx, I bolted the trigger in the "on" position. A zip-tie would do just as well. The saw is plugged into a regular electrical outlet mounted inside the box that is controlled by a light switch on the outside of the box.

  • So how is the hose clamp attached to the bottom side of the table?

  • @BeeRich33,

There is a whole drilled through the hose clamp and a 1/2" wood screw holds it in a recess the width of the clamp.

  • Why we have spend too much time.

  • Very interesting design. I am thinking of building something similar. One thing I will do differently to your is I will mount the saw to a separate mounting plate and then mount the plate to the underside of the saw table. First this makes the mating of the saw easier. Second, the mount is stiffer. I also will beef up the rotary saw thin sheet metal saw base to something more substantial There is too much flexing with your current base. Good job BTW. You are giving me a lot of ideas.

  • @ashlarxxx If you didn't notice, the switch was brought outside the box in front of the box. Look: 4:57

  • How do you control its on and off?

  • Worlds most decratictive table saw!!

  • Good job, I palnt to use some of your ideas on my own one. Just a little concerned your fingers were pretty close to the blade....need a push stick. :)

  • 1. Probably not too safe ripping wood with half of the tablesaw frame hanging off the table it's sitting on.

    2. What if your doing angled rips? That hose clamp is for minor adjusting.

    3. All in all cost effective and creative.
