Highlights of the 2008 Old-Time Piano Championship held Memorial Day weekend at the Hotel Pere Marquette in Peoria, IL. "Perf" Bill McNally now residing in Philadelphia, PA playing "Embraceable You" by George Gershwin. Bill indicates that his performance draws from an arrangement by Earl Wild.

  • sounds so good, love the piano, and this fella sure knows his keys, he knows that it all good.

  • I love this arrangement above all others. Something about how it never really ends.

  • No offense to the others, but Bill McNally and Brandon Courtaway were my two favorite pianists of everyone in the adult division that I heard at Peoria this year. This isn't a quantitative judgement, but a qualitative one. This arrangement is played perfectly, and is just wonderful. However, I would really love to see his rendition of "Chicken Pie" by Clement Doucet, or "Foxtrot" by Pancho Vladigerov. The latter two things are some of the most wonderful music I have heard.
