I literally BEGGED the guy who programmed the juke box in our college cafeteria to put 96 Tears in. We used up many hundreds of quarters to listen to this classic along with "Somebody to Love" and various psychedelic songs from the late 60's; cut many many classes to this music, but still managed to graduate!

Recorded on a Ampex  half track machine (Two channels ) the standard at the time. You had to get it right when you played the song or do it all over again if you didn't get it right.
