You were very mature about things. Most people who don't know feel 'awkward' when first told that a friend is gay. Giving them a little time to adjust before they have to react in front of you is a good idea. That's good even with parents ... maybe especially. ;)

Well, now that you are out at school, I'm glad your worst fears were not realized. It seems you might have underestimated poeples acceptacne and maturity, which is such a nice surprise! IT's fun to go back and watch these videos after you come out and compare them with your fears vs. the reality of what happend. BTW. has your father found out yet? Best of luck with that. My parents passed away before I told them but I know at the time they died they would have been ok with it.

@dashingmay I actually haven't told him... not that I dont want to but I haven't had the need to tell him. I haven't really had to hide anything from him so I don't feel 'bad'for not letting him know. I will tell him, but only when I think it is necessary
