@Deentan Sorry but you are the one that should Google. From 1389-1412 both Norway and Sweeden is de facto under the danish queen and the Kalmer union is created. But also after Magrethe I's death Denmark has the main influence in the Kalmar union thus Sweeden breaks out and becomes independant in 1523.
There's no doupt that Denmark was the main Scandinavian power in this period making your statement false.
