Honestly, 0verflow, what do you have against poor Makoto? As if killing him a zillion different ways in School Days wasn't enough, you go and make him a pedophile in the sequel.

Not necessarily. It depends on the choices the player makes who Makoto ends up with. Thus the character itself isn't to blame in this case, though he is amazingly stupid in the anime adaption of School Days. In the games, though, it's up to the player whether he's a nice guy or a brainless jerk.
