The all-new 2010 Honda Insight hybrid car made its world debut at the North American International Auto Show. Utilizing the latest generation of Honda's Integrated Motor Assist hybrid technology and new, more cost-efficient production methods, the 2010 Insight defines a new stage in the evolution of hybrid technology, providing hybrid customers with a new level of affordability, fun-to-drive performance, and a U.S. EPA city/highway fuel-economy rating of 40/43 miles per gallon.
Because.... You know.... to get the most fuel efficiency they have to converge to a common design such as "fast back" rear and rounded corners....

Because so far Toyota has sold a million Prius and people know the design. Honda is following the same formula but keeping the cost a little lower in order to be competitive. I might buy one myself

no, it has nothing to do with the aerodynamics. The insight and prius, both have the batteries in the rear, under the trunk. But the cars still need familiy-tunks, so they both got a ass-lift :D

It's a Honda Pruis (misspelled purposely, because it's different from the Toyota) lol

Yeah. But what makes the Prius stand out is ONLY the back! It's the back I'm talking about. I wonder if it could have to do with aerodynamics or so.

Only the back looks like the Prius, the front and interior are completely different. The price of the Insight will be lower than the Prius, therefore gives some competition.
