It had been over three years since I was able to get back to the 1:29 laps I'd been running on Toyo RA1s. In this lap, I'm on Nitto NT01s, which I don't think are as fast. But recently rebuilding my front shocks and making some other suspension changes seems to have restored the car's capabilities. This 1:28.81 was the first open lap I got during the first session of the day.
The car is a 1972 Porsche 911 that is mostly the brainchild (and creation) of Tyson Schmidt, who currently works at Hergesheimer motorsports in Lake Forest, CA.
