Similar thing in downtown las vegas "old vegas", but I'm assuming not LED as the thing in vegas has been there for decades.

its 'The Place'. Near of Central Park. 3 streets far away of the Silk market. You can type 'the place, beijing' in google earth.

Have you ever been to an baseball game? The "all American sport," as it's called.
How about an American football game?
Literally, these -American- sports stadiums are surrounded with LED screens that do everything from advertising to announcing a home run.
LED screens have been in use in almost every stadium in the United States since before China even knew it was going to have the Beijing Olympics.
Without America, there would be no China anyway... so why rip us?

Not sure. I never used the subway during my visit to Beijing. But it's at a shopping mall called ' The Place'.
