Introducing "Phyllis": The story of how an outsider reached out to a lost Queen, and why Susan chose an ordinary man over a dashing prince.
This is a video about a movie-verse/book-verse Narnia story I'm writing. If you know anything about Narnia fan fiction, you'll know that ALL the fangirls are squealing over the Susan/Caspian thing in the movie and that they CAN'T STOP WRITING MEDIOCRE ROMANCES ABOUT IT. Yeeugh. (The Kiss of Doom was bad enough, but now they have to go and completely ignore the fact that it was JUST A STUPID CRUSH, grrrrrrr...)
So I thought "ENOUGH Suspian already!" and decided to pair her up with the geek at the train station, just to show 'em. :-) The idea was too delicious to pass up, so I wrote the first chapter as a giftfic for my parent's anniversary. They loved it. :-)
So I posted it up on FanFiction.Net, and I got so many rave reviews about it (usually something like "THANK you for giving us something other than Susan/Caspian!!") and I decided to keep going. The geek (I named him Warren) was a HUGE hit with everyone, so we started a fanclub for him! (I'm sorry, but geeks are better than princes ANY day.) A bit later I found a nifty thing called "One True Media" and made a video - my very first - for the "Phyllis" story.
Aaaaaaand if you'd like to prove something to those pesky fangirls, *winks* you can check out my geek vs. prince poll right here: http://www.quizilla.com/polls/7615551...
Many, MANY thanks to Princess Lucy. It was her montage that got me all inspired to make this vid in the first place! Thanks for watching, and I hope you enjoyed this!

This was great! I love the fact that you chose the geek to show Susan the way back to Aslan. And for the record, as Charlie Eppes proves, geek is chic. Geeks will rule the world one day, and a modern-day geek has far more power than any prince--all in the form of ones and zeroes. Best of all, this didn't focus on Susan and Caspian.
