An autoimmune condition called antiphospholipid syndrome is a known cause of poor implantation & miscarriage. It impairs the endometrial differentiation (a process that happens in the lining of the uterus) which is necessary for strong implantation, as well, it causes blood clotting which reduces blood flow to the embryo & placenta, causing miscarriage if implantation does occur.

If this is a condition you are confirmed or suspected to have, you will be recommended baby aspirin daily, or low molecular weight heparin (blood thinner), which you will take throughout your pregnancy.

Alternatively, traditional Chinese medicine & acupuncture have demonstrated effect on improving implantation & reducing miscarriage rates by addressing the causes:
- It can help endometrial differentiation & implantation via regulation of autoimmune conditions.
- It can reduce or eliminate blood clotting caused by autoimmune conditions.
- Raises mid luteal levels of serum progesterone, which help maintain the pregnancy.

*So traditional Chinese medicine & acupuncture is a safe natural choice a woman can incorporate into her life when immune infertility is playing a role in getting pregnant and carrying to term. It could also be used as a preventative measure and to help hasten the process of acieving a healthy pregnancy.

Good luck creating your family.
