I'm loving this one.
Is there any theme behind the visuals, with the "firm trying to save your relationship" motif?
It probably doesn't matter... just sitting back and enjoying the music is good enough for me. :)

Atari had a bad habbit of doing that. They rushed the release of Pac Man as well and the result was an inferior product. Don't misjudge what I'm saying. I love Atari products, but they sacrificed quality for speed of release. Often the same games that were released on other platforms of the period were of better quality. The 2600 was capable of better games and Atari didn't want that.

@summer20105707 The REAL problem was that the game was made in a bit over a month, it was extremely rushed and incomplete.

@ADSLISKEWL actually I think E.T. is a pretty good game, I loved it as a kid in 1983 :P no need to share everyone else's opinion on this. there are far more boring atari games. which? these endless pacman clones for example, mouse trap by BIT, sooo boring. E.T.s gameplay is much better, varied and diversified.
