ComNZ vid response to this thing, see below link-

About this Video Response

This is a short, basic reply, non-academic (due to being a lazy sod lol) response arguing by analogy using ComNZ's personal experience of life in new zealand. Of course it's all highly subjective or is it? Does that matter?

Arguably, GreenMonZoe raises no substantive issues in her vid. Instead, what she "seems" to be complaining about was lack of economic freedom (in the former Socialist Republic of Bulgaria), which the USA now provides to her.

The prosperity of the west, freedom to own a car (luxury), or cars(greed), recieve higher wages than others: essentially, to live like an inegalitarian: is this what she is desirous of?

Would you call that a "freedom"? It is a freedom to some and a detriment to others. Uneven distribution of wealth is rampant in western capitalist fake democracies. But does she ever address these consequentialist issues in her video: if not, why not? What about the poor, homeless, unemployed in eg. the USA? Are there none?

Her healthy living info tips etc look impressive, BUT her Fall of Com vid is utterly pahtetic, subjective, and trite. No doubt many youtubers will lap it up as "the truth", because they themselves are inegalitarians and favour inequality. What lovely people they really are. lol

She also restricts comments under her video, how democractic is that? ComNZ has done the same, however, it was done to vex capitalist roaders, essentially give them a a taste of their own rat posion. The capitalists can give, but seldomly can they "take".

  • regardless of what country you live in, there will always be people who live below the poverty line and cannot afford luxury items. Dont go bashing her for praising people who gave up their lives for her freedom. I respect your ideas and defence for New Zealand but try to think a little more out the box next time. Even as a Canadian I know many people in my country have less that you would expect. try to be less rude next time.

  • @maxfish007 it was not being "rude". She complains about the most pathetic issues.

There are Comrades who gave up their lives for freedom from capitalist exploitation and repression. What she is really complaining about is lack of consumerism, cars, phones, etc, her entire argument in this regard is weak.

  • @maxfish007 the comment about her intellect was made by Donald09231985 , NOT by ComNZ

  • Donald09231985

I take it she thinks Obama is a socialist? Wouldn't surprise me she would think so, considering her intelligence level.

  • there are those in NZ that cannot even afford a land -line (home phone). However, perhaps the vid overstated this a bit by using "many".

  • No need to question my inteligence level. If you watched any of my other videos or followed my blog, you may be surprised just how wrong you were in your assumptions. Be careful next time when you decide to distort information to suit your agenda.

  • Interesting responce to my video. I just discovered it randomly. Unlike you, I would not dismiss your points because you are entitled to have an opinion. But I disagree to the "low" level you went to prove them. You did not live in Bulgaria during Communism. The lack of basic necessities was used to show more priviledged people how they take things for granted. My intention was to "paint" a picture of what it used to be like so people would understand the magnitude of the Fall of Communism.

  • Capitalist pig here.

You brought up an important point here, though

A communist society full of productive workers, inventors, managers, and thinkers sitting upon a wealth of resources (although I would argue these actors and resources would be harder to set into place) would do better than a capitalistic society run by incompetent people starved of resources.

I simply argue that freedom of individual action would lead to improvement of all standard of living.
