that´s what I was actually getting at...I have no problem WHATSOEVER with Victoria being a judge or for that matter ANY OTHER BRITISH person being there as a judge.You missed my point entirely.I was actaualy DEFENDING her right to be there as there had been comments from people saying as it was American Idol she(for being British)shouldn´t be there..read the comments thoroughly before critizising,thanks.

FYI the creator of American Idol is Simon Fuller who is british, so i think it's fair enough that there is/are british judge/judges in the show. Nothing is wrong with that.

The problem with american's singing is they go over the top trying to impress and they end up looking a wee bit too cheesy mixed with a strong smell of bullshit.

The UK and Ireland have the most musical taste compared to other nations.
the USA would then follow, then Scandinavia and finally countries like Japan and the rest of europe.
But Overall nationality does not matter, its choosing a good winner :)

2 of 4 judges are british??? what a joke. it's supposed to be American Idol, not the U.K. version. They seem to be taking over everything in the USA. Makes me wanna pack up my trailer, pickup truck, and head for the hills.
