wikid this. apparently the larvae eat the ant brains and the ants just wander around mindlessly for 2 weeks.

@evilpanda101 no, its says they die with in days, so they will only be around fire ant mounds, also we have plenty of predators that eat flies.

@evilpanda101 no since th flies only attack fire ants and are ridiculously small after the fire ants die the entire thing of flies will just die or find a new fire ant colony
