I finally figured it out, THE CHURCH has given them that authority! by making them feel as if they are better than others, by giving them ridiculously large honorariums, several first class tickets, stretch limo's ( with color preferences at that) hotel suites,etc. Yet giving preacher's that may not be as well known, but just as anointed,integral with a pure heart, an offering so small you can cash it a the local grocery store, Bro. Wow... This is a powerful Word. Its so true and sad. Wow... I am examining my heart in this matter even now... We need to worship God only... We need to be careful that we don't elevate certain people above others because of their gifting, anointing, etc... Pride does come before a fall... And God won't share his glory... What's important to God is holiness of heart and humility...

I agree that the church has caused this to happen. There are some parent that give their children everything that they want regardless of behavior. A child then expects this treatment from everyone. There may be a day where that child will come to a point where his or her behavior may cause a law to be broken. Then, that child will have to meet up with the judge.
