Engkantada: "Uyayi" (Salidumay Benefit Gig 10-12-07)

This was the benefit gig for Pinikpikan vox Carol Bello's husband, McWes Bello held at the Ishmael Bernal Gallery, UP Film Institute at UP Diliman last Oct. 12, 2007.
Sir McWes is goin' to undergo surgery this coming week, and as we all know, hospitalization is pretty costly nowadays. With the help of artist friends Engkantada (an all-woman Pinoy world music band), Diego Lazo (the Bello's nephew and Cordillerian musician), Bayang Barrios and Spy Band, this gig was set up to help the family cover hospital expenses.
Uyayi (i hope i spelled it right) is a mother's song for her child and was composed by Carol Bello years back.
