Nokia n79 review - minor issues

some minor issues i encountered..
i hope a software update will be available soon ..

* software version as at 10.046

----update 8 jan 2009-----
- the upcoming firmware which was announced on 20+ dec is still not avaiable for download..

- when receiving long sms, scrolling down down the page could skips a page instead of a few lines..

- opening the lens cover will unlock the phone.

** the phone battery recharges VERY FAST

Great review. So what do you think about this phone? People who liked N73 will certainly love this one. Although the phone is new there are not bigger software issues (it works smoothly), camera is very good, battery is excellent and its not overpriced. I think i will buy this one or wait till the N-series touchscreen phone is released =)

I see where you're coming from, but I've had the phone for 5 days now and these minor issues are totally worth putting up with. It's a great phone, specially with firmware 30+.

Please help me out...my N79 keypads won't light up unless when it is dark... Is this normal? Any adjustments? Thanks...

just type *#0000# in main screen and it will take u to the phone specifications menu, there u hit the options and click check for updates, and one is available it will downloaded, although u will need a gprs/edge/3g or wifi connection.
