  • greetings...have a question I hope someone can answer... back in the early 80's there was a song that the Moody Blues did that in the background you could hear crickets and a car door slam (well - close hard) Do any of you out there know which song that was?

  • stillrepenting,

Yes I do it is Steppin' in a Slide Zone. One of John Lodge's great songs! It's from there Octave album. :)

  • How come the Moodies are NOT in the Rockn Roll Hall of Fame...???????????

  • arthurkaliel, That's a good question!

  • Boy, They sound so good. I hope they come to my home town in the near future. I would love to see them again.

  • This one song makes the Moody Blues one of the greatest goups, ever. Lost my virginity to this song.

  • its amazing how wonderful they sound live... not many bands current can do that... or even come close. its sad.. and i wish we could go back sometimes...

  • the story,he left on a tues and arrived on sunday after the 5 day journey, the 2 knights dressed in satin shirts for the marriage of he and fair gwendolyn...went into the village for a beer...the handsome young man distraugt because her father would not let he leave her homeland...she loved them soo much but was his true love since she was 12...

  • One of, if not the greatest songs and rendition of it. It has a very deep meaning to me, and the brilliant music matches perfectly to the emotion poured on it. Truly a masterpiece.
