I wonder how some ppl get to be cremated & some buried do they choose when they die what they wanna do w/their bodies?

@pumpkinhead1020 Is that really true she asked to be buried next to Desi? She was buried w/her parents & brother or at least share a grave w/them but Desi was cremated.

A few years ago (im 26) i saw this and i cried. I think It was 2004 i'm not sure but it was the first time I saw this episode. Made you wish Desi hadn't let fame get to his head along with drink because these two were the perfect couple. at least in my mind they were but then again no couple is perfect.

This is one of the most beautiful and touching scenes ever shown on TV. I saw it in 1952 when it was first broadcast. It still makes me cry!

It really is. Did you know that Lucy and Desi were so so embarrassed that they got emotional and cried in front of the cameras that they re-shot this. But than at the last minute kept this one in as they knew it was the real deal, and this is the version that aired. =)

No, I wasn't aware of that, but I am not really surprised that they kept the original scene rather than the one that they re-shot. Lucy and Desi were extraordinary people and had an extraordinary relationship. They were very much in love even after they divorced. I wonder if they had any inkling that "I Love Lucy" would still be wildly popular almost 60 years later? Thank you so much for the interesting info!
