  • no, it has not acustic piano sound. only electric piano sound. it's a fm synth, with no sample rom.

  • great. sounds like a score to an 80's movie.

  • Amazing. I have a DX7, how can I get sound like this. Anyone can share how to manually set the sound like the ones in the video. Thanks.

  • Great sounds. Some of them remind me of Tony Banks of Genesis. Wonderful work.

  • per caso riusciresti a mandarmi le patch in sysex? non riesco a programmare il mio perchè ovviamente dopo aver cambiato la batteria, ha perso la memoria...

  • this dx7 remember me 80s :(

  • I really miss my DX7s :( I traded it years ago for next to nothing and got a Clavinova PF-p100 stage piano which was amazing at the time. Wished i had of save longer and kept the DX7. What's done in done!

I stuggled (lazy) programming the DX at the time but would love to give it a go now.

    Great synth!! Thankyou for uploading.

  • I dont realy think it is THAT hard to program, Sure it takes a while, but its not to bad...

  • modie i have now dx7s have i done the right it looks like new and works very well

  • 2:00 sounds like forever young !!!

  • what is the brass sound at 2:15 ?

  • good job

  • The 6:10 Oberheim-like pad is just incredible!

  • I bought a DX7 back when they first came out. I wish I still had it!

  • at the time (1983) it was a revelation. had all these usable sounds, so easy to use, great keybed. as for programming, there were patch editors for the Mac or Amiga. Nowadays you can use fm7 (native instruments) for a simulacrum

  • Only a few days left and this baby is mine. Can't wait

  • if you have to ask, don't even try to. FM synths are a bitch to program.

  • it sounds very good :-)

  • nice videos man. im looking for a VOICE ROM cart # 3 if you or anyone else no where i can get one. all ready tried ebay

  • I remember when they came out in the 80's. It was a great keyboard then and is still one today.

  • it relaxes me! xD

  • five stars video!

  • excenlent .. nice demo of an dx7 !!!!

  • how do you program it

  • I'm so glad I've kept my DX7, TX7 and DX7II.

Perhaps not all sounds are great, but it shure brings back that 80's feeling.
