Hackintosh OSX 10.4.8 running Prey Game with Nvidia 7300GT

Running Prey Game at 1024 X 768 High Detail.

Mid Specs: 915G Chipset with PCI-Express 7300GT Full Core Image and Quartz Extreme
Kick out integrated GMA900

No glitches, Video and OSX effects using Shift Key and click.

This was recorded in 2007 even today (2012) looks great

Now i'm using a GTS250 (G92 chip) on SnowLeopard 10.6.8, Core i5 3.2Ghz 8GB Ram, Enough for a decent and very Very Stable computer.

Newer Fermi cards still some glitches and unstable Lion comes with better support but still no being as great as the older cards. Specially for cuda support.

@diazrocks Sup, yep this was time ago.. Actually QuartzExtreme works by using the correct Driver, the 7300 is outdated, now i'm using a GTS250 which is the same as the 9800GTX+ on 10.6.8 SnowLeopard Now is easier to run a Hackintosh with tonymac tool. The fermi cards still unstable and glitching like 480GTX and newer. Any card with the Chip G92 works flawlessly.

That card, have at least 2 years old and still working more efficient than some new ATI cards. I want to change to an 8800GT.

@oerunekoi Cheers for the reply mate! Hows 10.6.8? im still running on 10.5.2. Are you using retail copy+Unibeast like suggested by tonymac? yeah, im planning to upgrade my whole machine in the next few months. but until then, im stuck with this card. I've tried NVinject, Graphics enabler, customizing DSDT and the Nvidia KEXT but still no luck on turning the QuartzExtreme. can you probably point me to which driver you used mate? cheers.

That's not Compiz man! That's just the normal effects on OSX! Like it doesn't have the fire effect or the glitter one or anything. It just pretty much has the genie effect & a few other to just distinguish it from Windows. I'm a Mac user but Ubuntu Ultimate Edition ROCKS!
