On the bad side. I have a friend that is the poster child for why Pot is illegal. Heavy user, wake and bake, almost 24/7 for 10 years now in between jail stops.. He exhibits the psychosis that are mentioned in psych journals. Lost his wife, kids, house, ambition, posessions. Was a professional man, now lives in the front seat of his truck with his dog. Trims trees when he can convince someone to pay him for it. Impossible to convince him to quit and return to a more comfortable lifestyle.
Marijuana use in food therapy. I had anosmia (loss of taste and smell) after a head trama in the early 90's. The loss wasn't as bad a the horrid sense of taste (like medicated shit) present all the time and multiplied when eating. Pot did not make it taste better, just made it to where eating shit wasn't so bad. There may have been other curative properties involved as I did recover about 2 years later. Sent my info to Colorado institute of taste and smell.

@jurygovernment To be fair that guy probably would be in the same situation whether he had smoked any cannabis or not.
