  • Always have time for a listen to Dougie....I feel so near....come on our way again...

  • A very uplifting song! Thankyou Dougie....you've made my day!

  • Saw him last week in Denver and he was wonderful. Not only a great storyteller but he was cracking us up all night. Just like on this video.

  • Yes quite a number of times. He's a family friend. Genuinly nice guy.

  • that's really neat. have you ever seen/met him? i saw him here in the US when i was a teenager. i've been a big fan ever since

  • The "Murdaine" he refers to is actually my grandfather, who lives in Reef, not far away from Dougie's home in Lewis, which was his house, where my mother grew up.And Finn and the late John were two of his great friends. NIce man indeed he is.

  • The wee mans a genius...he has that audience eatin oot his hands

  • My other all time favorite of his!

  • For context, the song refers to life in the Hebrides Islands of Scotland. Beautiful song, great artist.

  • i get teary-eyed every time i hear this song. i had the privilege of seeing him live once. such a great experience
