Branches of Darkmeyer - Boss Fight Tactics Guide (Beat on my first try! =)

This is me Runescape Guide on how I killed the boss for the quest "Branches of Darkmeyer".

This was my first try fighting the boss and I successfully killed it. I heard so many player dieing so many times from 2-5 and taking them 30minutes to kill it

It took around 10 mins to kill the boss as seen with me using 2 overload dose. I Felt this boss was very easy to kill but was amazed at how many times all my runescape fellow runescaper died, so I hope this guide helps you all when fighting the boss for this quest!

Please note I took time off to edit this video, I started this quest on the 1st September 2011 (1 day after release). So I thought you guys would like more regular vids update on me doing stuff on runescape. Although I am wearing the best gear I DID NOT WANT to die and waste time, You will be suprise what my A-log hours played is (Many people think its 1k days'' its much less) so I hope you guys at least gain some tips watching my video guide.

does your protect magic do anything? is soul split better?

@lastwarrior2004, yes if you are using magic protect/deflect, I just read on a guide it makes his magic attack hits lower on you, but it magic delflect, DOES not deflect any damage.

@phoenixodin srsly? you fight with a magic staff... you oust have to use the melee wep.. it hits 800s ... you want to make a guide.. and you don't even get that you are fighting with a mage staff loooool

@QeenRs it was my first try there and I did the quest 1 day after the release. I had not much info except from friends that did it on the day of release.They told me about the boss and how they died more than once. So I WANTED to be safe and not die once at this boss. I know Im dumb using a staff.. Sorry.

AT:

2:13 I hit 93 then a 90LP

3:08 I hit 91

3:45 I hit 99

4:25 I hit a 98 lp

So I thought the melee wep was useless so I decide to use staff prob because of brews. But not all the time.

I'm currently in the process of this fight. It's fun, but the first time made me panic a little and I just thought "Ok...now wtf was that?" lol. Stupid blood bombs. :P

@iluv2zerkOff Lets see it then. Considering normal attacks have no effect. and even if somehhow (which there is no way) he survived, he would be killed by final attack. gf, go cry over your little "hero" now kid.
