Largest Carousel in the World

That's a legitimate title. You will find it at House on the Rock (Dodgeville, WI). You will also find there is not a single creature on this carousel that is simply a horse. Personally, everytime I visit, this sight blows me away - the strange off-kilter beat of music, the flashing lights that draw you like a moth to flame. It's almost a religious experience, but an eerie one.

it's a really old carousel with its own pipes... that's why they sound so clanky and run down and creepy :D

Just went there yesterday. Already planning a trip back to take more people. That whole place is just so creepy.

It is a shame no one can ride on it. It looks like it's sturdy enough to take riders aboard. Yet, it's also important to respect antiques too.
