Esquire E-ink Cover Hack: Cut-out

This video demonstrates that the Esquire E-ink cover can be cut into various shapes and forms while still continuing to work. Remove the silver foil from the back of the bottom E-ink display so you can observe the wiring diagram that is embedded into the e-ink partitions. Use a felt tip marker to draw the shape you will cut out. Use a pair of regular scissors to cut out the shape and avoid cutting into the wire connections. Plug the cut-out e-ink display back into the circuit board. Lets see what shapes you can come up with.
