Section 2 News: Part 1 of 3

This was a project I organized for one of our classes while at Palmer Chiropractic. Each of the four sections in our class were given a different topic to present, and ours was on stress management. We had approxiametly one month to complete the assignment and could present it with any means possible. As a producer upon entering chiropractic school, it was suggested that we do a video project. In return I suggested we do a newscast-style presentation. I organized the script, actors, and shot it over a two-week period and completely out of sequence. The end video is basically a combination of all three, plus a multi-nav DVD with a looping question/factoid sub-video to serve as a preview before we got started. In the end, the head librarian liked the idea so much that she developed a 3'x5' poster board and presented it at our state health fair in Jacksonville, under the title "DVD Term Paper - The Modern Presentation". From there, she took the DVD to catalog at the national librarians conference the following year. I had no idea it would get that much attention. Just think, we were only 1st quarter students at the time! I hope you enjoy and learn something!
