roy had a hell of a chin, the onlyreason he lost is because he kept movingup and down in weight classes, idont know what everyone else was watching, but roy owned the entire decade of the 90's

Roy Jones was simply the best fighter out there, and still makes an enduring impression when you see him fight. His next fight will be on Aug. 15 vs. Jeff "Left Hook" Lacy. I believe Lacy will be owned; I also believe that Roy's ego wont let him stop boxing and that he needs to prove himself one last time. How can ppl say he had no chin, he got up when he go hit n da chin by Tarver, ALL OF HIS KOs WERE TEMPLE SHOTS, GLEN JOHNSON, DANNY GREEN (AND HE GOT UP N DEY STOPPED DA FIGHT EARLY WHN HE WAS READY 2 FIGHT), N DENNIS LEBEDEV!!! Roy Jones in his prime had a decent chin. You can't be a world class fighter without having at least that. Still compared to other world class fighters he didn't have a great chin. A great chin doesn't just become weak when you go up and down in weight. In his prime Jones was hit clean every once in a while. Still other fighters have taken numerous harder punches in one fight and stayed on their feet.

U know I've always wondered if Jones knew he had lost alot of things when he came back down from 200 to 175 because u could see in the ring he was a different kind of boxer than he used to be.

@mrallcity313 And the very early 2000's. He fell off almost halfway through this past decade... 2004!!! He dominated since 1990!! thats 14 years of owning the throne. Ppl are just blinded by his cockiness so they say oh roy was good but he couldn't do this or that blah blah blah. Roy could do anything and everything in his prime.

What this video mainly shows is that, in his prime, Roy rarely got hit cleanly - and when he did it wasn't by devastating blows. Roy had an average chin, you cannot be a world champion boxer without having at least that. But its almost impossible to say he had a good one because the first time he got caught with a bomb on the chin he was out for the count.
