DoD racketeers are milking the American taxpayers with cash cows and excuses that they cannot adapt until "20whenever" which is conveniently and constantly pushed off into "the future". The truth is that a geniune and professional military force if in the shoes of the U.S. DoD has already enough existing equipment to dramatically improve TODAY; M113s can be made to swim from already existing sealift ship-to-shore and fly by CH-47 and CH-53 helicopters as "AmphiGavins" to secure beaches for heavier tanks to arrive by LCAC hovercraft, the former can even fly by heavy lift helicopters to avoid sea mines. Once ashore, the containerized U.S. Army has all the supplies it needs and can stay as long as it needs to in complete protection by the "BATTLEBOX" system and avoid living in former dictator palaces and stolen homes which rightfully causes the locals to rebel.
