issue for some might be that the text in the current FLA file is Dynamic Text....THIS NEEDS TO BE CHANGED TO STATIC TEXT!!!!!!!

I have only one prob. when I run this "movie" and put the mouse on movie I only see dark and bright "beam". :( can u help me ? =)

I imagine that when you buy a copy of Flash the serial number will ship with it. :-)

It works but the glow(beam) is not on my mouse its to the right and down a bit, is there a way to fix this?

Sure. If you double click the movieclip to open its timeline you can then move the flashlight object so that its center in in the cross hair . This will change the center point of the movieclip.
