@rockonmadonna If Madonna were Whitney Houston or Mariah Carey, yes vocal should be an important factor for her careers and performance, but Madonna never markets herself as a vocalist in the first place. She sings pop songs and dance around which consume energy especially for her age. With Madonna is all about star power and her ability to awe the audience, not her vocal. Besides, the fans should be grateful that she didn't lipsync, which is widely used by many entertainers including vocalists.

@AdvertChild98 For long-time fans, it's not really about her vocal abilities in general. She has proven that she can sing in the past. The complaints are more about the vocal quality of her recent performances, as it seems her voice has gone a bit south.

Why are people surprised Madonna isn't a strong singer? I hope this isn't the first time you ever heard she sang. I mean come on! Complaining Madonna about her voice is like complainning about spaceships in Star Wars. It's just silly.
What i am truly surprised is how tame the crowd were. Why were they even there if they didn't want to make some noice? Vienna has the worst Madonna crowd ever. If they don't like her voice, they shouldn't have paid so much like an idiot to see her live!

She's not quite hitting those notes
concealing,,,, say,,,,feeling
it's quite painful to listen to. I love this song and I adore Madonna, but she's not the strongest singer in the choir.

And what do the newspapers know? LiveNation, the tour promoter, didn't give them any numbers. They guessed. News reports on ticket sales are never right. Every ticket LN put up for sale sold, hence it was a sell out. A venue doesn't have to be packed for the show to be sold out. Tour promoters put tickets up for sale based on demand, not necessarily to fill every seat available after stage set up.

yes as you sa with quotations *ofiicially* but austrian newspapers reported that ther were about 50.000
-
Her Vienna show was *officially* sold out, per Billboard BoxScore.
