  • What absolutely beautiful music... Real... Thank you Atticus70...

  • @Leftysdaughter Thank you!

  • This is just wonderful, Paul Whiteman, Bing Crosby, Bix Beiderbecke, Frankie Trumbauer, written by Rodgers and Hart.

What more can you ask. Why hasn't this got a million views.

  • Thank you! Hope you enjoy my transfers!

  • Sorry can you explain what you mean by transfers and I'll take advantage of them.

  • The recording you hear was recorded from the original record and the sound of this recording was recorded by myself. What you hear is a "transfer" of this.

  • Great music! Thanks for share it with us!

  • Does anyone know if the listed "Jack Fulton" is the same Jack Fulton who was well known in Vancouver jazz circles? Thanks.

  • I assume you used a special stylus, worked in noise reduction and maybe went to mp3, or ?

Anyway, it sounds great. Bix is rarely heard with a mute!

    Thank you Mr. Atticus

  • This is probably Paul Whiteman's band on one of their better days, the perfect blend of catchy and swing without any sacrifice as to talent.

  • Thanks Atticus for all your great contributions...Whitman can easily be criticized for the corny things we hear in some of his arrangements true...but this stuff was cool back then and a wonderful platform for singers like Crosby and musicians like Bix and so many more. ...He added a very important chapter in the rise and popularity of jazz and popular music.

  • Yes the quality is brilliant, you've done a superb job. It's a pity you can't do a transfer on some of the crackly versions provided by other people. Well done it's a pleasure listening to it.
