Just about any Frank Miller comic is great, his noir is especially good. "Noir Nation" is looking for graphic novels to be published on e-readers. Check them out on Facebook and Youtube.

There is also a video "Noir Naiton" here on Youtube that looks cool too, looks like they publish Graphic novels as well, and will reach the e-pub audience on Kindles, Nook, iPads etc.

@Likodemus i'll be sure to check that book out :D

@albinocify Of course. there's "The DC Comics Guide to COLORING and LETTERING comics" also edited by Watson-Guptill. Those two are now my most valuable ones right now. Recommended!

@Likodemus Any other book you would recommend??

Can someone tell me what tools he is using? I can see a brush and then some kind of ink(?). Is that correct?

Got the book yesterday. Its pretty good, but it won't teach you 'how to draw' and the author clearly tells you this as well. What it does is give you ides on how to find your subjects, the styles, the way images are created through greys. I actually found myself seeing the shadows around me, and seeing the world the way this guy must.
Firstly I would say grab hold of a couple of good how to draw comics books, learn from them, then use what you've learnt to enhance with the Noir style.
