I'm puzzeld as to why the writers are turning Layla and Christian into enemies. Are they setting up the audience for a possible relationship bwtween the two only for Evangeline to wake up?

I said the same thing. What's worse is that they KEEP doing it!
Sidenote: I went to college at UMCP and had my daughter at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring. Small world.
