@bibleortraditions Amen! Jesus told Thomas who was one of the Disciples "Because you have seen you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen but believed". I believe in a Risen Living God! God bless you!

So South Park is your reference eh? LOL

@sitakazukin - Absolutely! The Bible is approximately 40% prophecy, and it had been 100% accurate in its foretelling of Jesus' birth, passion, world events, etc. When we study prophecy indepth, it is absolutely amazing. So if the Book of Mormon is from God, why have there been many false prophecies by the founders? Why no archelogical evidence? The Bible says God is unchangeable, the same today and forever. We believe this is true, so why would He change the way He comminucates?

@roaringwaterbay Are you sure?

@sitakazukin - Look at the charachter of this man called a prophet. He was a swindler, theif, and a womanizer. He's a latter day so-called prophet, and you have nothing but blind faith. The Bible warns us of him: "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world." 1 Jn 4:1 Try the spirits to see if they are from God. Test all doctrines with Scripture. Your eternal destination depends on it.

@sitakazukin - Here's the thing: Faith is good, if it's the right faith. Thinking it through, why would God hide the golden tablets if they truly point to truth? Did He hide the Old Testament? Did He hide the New Testament? No. There are over 5,300 manuscripts that date back into antiquity. 2nd century for the NT, mush older for the OT. Plus, there is abundant archeological evidence for the events in the Bible. Sadly, you won't be able to say, "I didn't know, " because you have been warned.

@xCOMPETITIONx It was given back to angel Moroni after prophet Smith translated the book. :) It was no longer needed. But if the plates weren't given back and is still with us today, then you might actually believe in the book but what is the use of faith? To see it is to believe it? Have anyone of us seen God? If not, then why do we believe in him? Because we have faith. If we have faith, we believe in things that we cannot see but which are true.

@repentingheart - Fantastic testimony! God bless.

@newhope01 I beg to differ with you on that. I was raised a Mormon in SLC UT in a polygamy household, there were 3 wives, 1 husband and 3 different houses. I also came from the line of Joseph Smith and am a great, great, great niece of his. My great grandmother and her sister were married to the same man. Mormonism is steeped in polygamy from the very beginning, it's only when they get pressured that they change their doctrine to fit into society. Thank God he saved me from this false religion!

There are 115 LDS Sects...97 of them practice Polygamy.
Of the 97 LDS Sects that practice Polygamy 60 of them practice it openly.
Only the "Rocky Mountain Saints" (that's the ones in Salt Lake CIty Utah) don't practice Polygamy (at least not publicly, it is done on a 'Spiritual' level even within the Rocky Mountain Saints).
Among ALL of the various Latter Day Saint Sects and Sub-Sects it remains a core part of the D&C.
Joseph taught it and he never changed his teaching.
Even South Park did a show on the Book of Mormon. That episode even showed how ridiculous it's founding was.

But is it blind faith? Are you putting your souls into the hands of a man who claimed for himself to be a prophet of God, or are you placing your eternal security into the hands of Almighty God Himself?
Over a dozen centuries before the Mormon church claimed there would come those to destroy the Mormon faith, Jesus warned of false shepherds, other gospels, and the vain traditions of men would follow. Whose warning will you make a priority?
