You have said the most hurtful thing I have ever heard. Obviously you have no feeling or compassion for other human beings. How do you sleep at night? I pray that you never have to watch one of your love ones wither away to nothing right in front of your eyes. If you were looking to hurt someone with your words, mission accomplished. My sister nursed her mother in law through it until the last year of her life, then found her husband and brother in law have it. She had two daughters and a grand-daughter before her mother in law was diagnosed. One daughter is clear, meaning the disease has died down that branch of the family, however her other daughter aged 27 has decided not to be tested - she wants to live her life as if she does not have it, and face up to it if develops, but will not have children just in case.

This disease is one of the most cruel things I have ever come across.

The main problem is that it is often diagnosed relatively late in life when many people already have children and grandchildren, so the decision of whether to have children or not has been taken out of your hands.

I dont know if this is right or am completley wrong for even thinking of this but...i wouldnt have kids i had HD, in my opinion people with HD shoundlt have kids (if they know they have it), its a way of spreading the deseaso to mora and more people besides if poeple with HD dont have kids they cam be able to save a person of this horrible deseae...its just my opinion...best of lucks to your family, stay string
