@SadisticPyro Yeah, most of the negatives they have pointed out are how Humans aren't handling the technology properly. If anyone knows genetics and how plants reproduce we can understand how the gene would spread that isn't so appalling. The video, also admits that we clearly do not know whether or not GMO is harmful. We need regulation to stop vaccine GMO to spread. The technology can certainly work.

This video is really biased. I mean, it feels more like a sensationalist, one-sided video than an objective look at GM foods. Consider that 90% of the video talks about the disadvantages of GM foods, but barely touches on the advantages at all.
There actually ARE advantages to growing GM food. This video just doesn't convey this information, because it's being shown on the news, and news reports have to be sensationalist/fear-mongering to attract the viewers' attention.

drugs in food crops? valium in my tomato? crack in my carrot? I always wanted to be a druggy.... I just couldnt afford it.

@laurent0etienne The 2010 data on the worldhunger website shows there is more than enough food right now to feed everyone on earth. Poor people starve because they can not afford food, not because of a lack of food production. It is immoral to promote GM foods being kept outdoors and for human consumption when there are possible health, environmental and contamination risks. Especially when studies suggest organic foods can feed the world without GMOs.

@laurent0etienne Ignorance is a bliss, as i can tell in your case

They are using the entire world as lab-rats.
In the USA, foods containing GMO's should be labeled; we all have a right to know what we are eating.

"The Future of Food" mentioned in this comment is a 1hr/29-min film that, in my opinion, is the very best documentary on GMO's ever produced - honest, informative, and fun to watch. It is now available in Google videos.
