My sewing machine's a singer, it's one of the newer machines I think, can this be done using that?

My 1947 Kenmore refuses to embroider :( . It will not pick up the bobbin thread, if i put the foot down it will pick it up bobbin thread. I have no idea why it does this,lol.

@suhas1502 It should be possible on any home sewing machine, so I dare say yes. :) If you can lower the transporter or put a plate on, so it wont "grab" the fabric while sewing, you can do free hand embroidery. :)
