That's one of those "grass for profit" operations. Wheatgrass should always be grown in good soil for maximum nutrition. Also that grass is too short, it hasn't even reached it's nutritional peak yet. Like growing in paper towels this is done for profit and convienence for the grower. If your drinking wheatgrass juice from short grass grown on paper towels, your not getting it's incredible benefits. Find a local grower or grow your own.

This is NOT the way to grow grass. You need soil and sunshine or you just have green shoots, this video is ridiculous. Paper towels? Disgusting.

Even though I agree, azomite and pure organic compost is best for nutritional aspect of wheat grass, I feel that the paper towel does produce a superior yield as compared to just placing seed over compost alone.

For ever one who thinks that the wheat grass is growin on paper towel alone do you research look up hydroponics the solution that is rained on top of that grass to soak in to the root s is a nutrient rich solution allowing the plant to have the required nutrients come on all you sunshine drinking hippies don't tell me you have ever turned down smoking hydroponic weed RIGHT so before you talk...think frist

I did that too, and that's a great way to germinate a seed that is intended to be eaten or planted in soil, but for nutritious grass, it's better to plant in soil or some kind or natural, organic medium. The grass needs something to eat. If the grass is starving, you don't get as much nutrition. Minerals come from soil, not paper towels. Growing a plant is one thing. Growing a plant dense with nutrition is another thing. The grass may look the same, but they are drastically different.

Didn't you ever do that project in like 2nd grade where you take a brown paper towl, damp it, and put it in a plastic bag with a Lima bean?

i stop buying wheatgrass from healthfood stores. I grow my own wheatgrass. my wheatgrass grows on very nutritious soil and i keep them in real sunlight and add kelp in it and use good drinking water in it. it's a difficult job and i'm proud for myself what i do. so, if you guys are interested, i can produce you that, and have to be the residence of northern new jersey. my product is limited, because, i pay more attention in quality.
