@coyotestory You know, I've always said that "Luke the Drifter" was instrumental in shaping my character, the good parts anyway. I really have been listening to him since I was 3. It was a simple record player and I'd listen to it and sing along over and over. I might not have understood every word, but I caught the gist of them enough to learn the messages. Even the lesson(s) taught by the upbeat "Everything's Okay!" Schools should add Luke's work to social studies. ;-D

I was 10 when Hank Senior died but this song still brings tears to my eyes.
Hank Williams will probably never be equalled when it comes to putting words and music to the innumerable foibles of life!

Jesus said "He who is without sin, cast the first stone!" Jesus is the only one today who can throw a stone at any of us but yet He throws His love! If He can do that....how much more should we? Beautiful song with a beautiful message and if I could carry a tune I would proudly sing this in the church I attend!
