It must have been some wacky trip for Laverne. Traveling through time, and seeing many people that look like people from the 50's... in the 70's...?
A guy that looks just like Carmine, Chachi, A dead ringer for Lori Beth (Richie Cunningham's girlfriend/wife) and a guy named Arnold that looks and acts just like... Arnold! WOW!
Yeah, Blansky must have been a time-traveler the way she magically transported from her initial introduction in the fifties on Happy Days to the (then) contemporary Las Vegas. Of course, Garry Marshall just wanted to give his new show a boost, never mind the temporal anomaly.
Also: this particular episode had a guest appearance by Laverne (as seen in the beginning) because it's a flashback to Nancy meeting her back in '57 to offer her a dancing job, which she declined, thus tying the whole Milwaukee series to Blansky (hence Marshall still wearing her 1950's character wardrobe).
That's because it WAS a spin-off. Nancy Blansky was a cousin to Richie Cunningham. She appeared on one episode as the character, and Blansky's Beauties premiered on ABC a week later. Morita left Happy Days for the show (where Al Molinara took over Arnold's) and Scott Baio had yet to appear as Chachi on the show. Oddly Blansky took place in the 70's rather than the 50's, and Nancy and Arnold didn't seem to age a day.
Basically this is the unknown spinoff of Happy Days.
Did Eddie Mecca do both Laverne and Shirley and Blanskys beauties at the same time?

This show could almost be a Happy Days spin off. So many actors were on both shows.
